On the heels of a fantastic weekend at Grill on the Hill Eggfest at Treetops Resort, we have registered for our first Eggfest outside the state of Michigan. On Aug. 17, we will be heading south to compete in the 5th Annual Ohio Eggfest, held at Grandview Yard in the Giant Eagle Market District of Columbus.
We will be one of 35 teams competing for both the People’s Choice award and the professionally and silently judged The Prestigious Award Award.
Justin Potts, pitmaster of Pasatiempo Barbecue, grew up in Tipp City, Ohio, just an hour west of Columbus and looks forward to returning to his home state.
Tickets for attendees are $25 and include food tastings and non-alcoholic beverages. Kids 12 and under are free. Like Grill on the Hill, attendees and cooks can purchase the demo Eggs at a greatly reduced price.
