Up North Hot Sauce is a collaboration with Gindo’s Spice of Life.
The husband and wife team of Chris and Mary Ginder — aka the Gindo’s — have been creating hot sauces in St. Charles, Ill. for the past decade. Why? To help inspire creativity in the kitchen and enhance food by adding flavor, aroma, color, texture, and nutrients.
Their mission of creating products to enhance food and using food to bring people together fits right in with ours, so we’ve teamed up to create this unique hot sauce.
Chris and his team took our Up North Barbecue Sauce, which features a bold cherry flavor and a hint of maple, and fused it with his own red pepper and habanero blend. The result is a medium heat sauce that goes well on barbecue, breakfast, and everything in between.
Gindo’s sources its peppers and ingredients from local farms. Over the past decade, they have created hundreds of hot sauces. Their year-round sauces include Original, Jalapeno Poblano, and Honey Habanero. They also develop new recipes each month with limited releases, such as Garlic Parmesan, Strawberry Basil, and Processo Horseradish.
In addition, Gindo’s has a hot sauce of the month club. Customers can choose from one or three bottles a month, delivered right to their door.
