Our first barbecue rub, Down With the Swine, has landed in its second Ohio retail location. Specialty Gas House in Columbus is now carrying the popular sweet-heat pork rub.
Specialty Gas House hosts the annual The Ohio Eggfest, where we captured top 3 in both people’s choice and judge’s vote in 2019. Our “Belly of the Beast” dish, which consisted of a flavor-packed bite of pork belly three ways — pork belly burnt end, our cherry wood smoked bacon, and a bacon fig jam — used Down With the Swine.
“We had a great time and received great feedback at The Ohio Eggfest last year, and while we were sad to not be able to attend this year due to Covid-19, we’re excited to be able to offer our rubs to the people of Columbus at Specialty Gas House,” said Pasatiempo Barbecue owner, Justin Potts.
